SOLENOID OR PIEZOELECTRIC DRIVING MODULE
Driving of any type of injector
EFS has a full range of control modules to adapt to most injectors available on the market.
- In research and development, this module allows to define the power characteristics of the ECU or MCM to be developed for this injector. In addition, it defines the acceptable tolerance ranges for proper operation of the injector.
- In production, the module allows the same order to be always reproduced whatever the IPoD module type installed.

Injector driver module
Power control rack for solenoid injectors
The IPoD coil is a power control module for injectors using magnetoelectric technology. It has several different riding modes. The running modes are sorted out from a basic cycle comprising the phases necessary to monitor : preload, boost, call, maintenance, EOT or BIP, discharge, demagnetization (ref: EFS 8532). There is also a 6-channel IPoD coil for power control in multiplexed mode for 6 injectors (EFS 8472).
Power control rack for piezoelectric injectors
The IPoD piezo is a power control module for injectors with piezoelectric technology. It also has several driving modes. Its advanced functions are as follows: control by a single current peak, control by multiple pulses and control by constant current. (ref: EFS 8370). There is also the 6-channel IPoD piezo for power control in multiplexed mode for 6 injectors (EFS 8478).
