This alarm and tracking system of the "man overboard" consists of a kit with a console and an antenna installed on the boat and embedded beacon in an inflatable life jacket.
EFS has received the security certificate Dahmas SMS.W.11. / 94098 / A.0 for the production system at our premises in Montagny.

Safety of train agents during convoy’s assembly.

A second batch work manager to meet SNCF consulted us to design field product ensuring the safety of operating agents.
This device is used in rail transport to ensure the safety of convoy operations (yard, station positioning...) between the locomotive engineer and chief operating via a radio transmission-type 3G, TETRA, 4GW.

OPTICAL FIBER TEMPERATURE MEASUREMENT

Temperature measurement in explosive atmosphere areas.

A research company, a subsidiary of a large group, offers a license of a sensor model for industrialization with a market dedicated to the same group.
This system is designed to make temperature measurements in areas with potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX). It uses an optical measuring principle (temperature sensitive optical material), but simply connects like any electrical sensor (EFS 8341). Its cost is about the same as an isolated thermocouple without the disturbance problem.
These sensors are manufactured by EFS under Schneider license.
